Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This policy explains how Business Debt Help (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your personal information when you use this website or contact us. We are the data controller for the information you provide and are committed to handling it in line with UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

Information we collect

  • Enquiry details you give us via our contact form, phone or email — such as your name, company name, phone number, email address and a description of your situation.
  • Technical information collected automatically through privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics — such as the pages you view and approximate region. This does not identify you personally.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • respond to your enquiry and provide the advice or service you’ve asked for;
  • where appropriate, introduce you to a licensed insolvency practitioner who can help;
  • keep records of our communications; and
  • understand how our website is used so we can improve it.

Our lawful bases are your consent (which you give when you submit an enquiry) and our legitimate interests in responding to you and running our business. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your data. We may share it with:

  • licensed insolvency practitioners or professional advisers, where relevant to helping you and with your agreement;
  • trusted service providers who help us operate (for example our website host, Cloudflare, and our form-delivery provider), who act on our instructions; and
  • authorities or regulators where we are required to by law.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. We use a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics service to understand aggregate traffic, which does not track you across websites or identify you personally.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information only for as long as necessary to respond to you and meet our legal and business obligations, after which it is securely deleted.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, contact us at help@business-debt-help.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Security & changes

We take appropriate measures to keep your information secure. We may update this policy from time to time; the latest version will always appear on this page.
